Four months have passed since Mario Menounos
mom died of cancer, but he has not been forgotten.
During the "Once Upon a Time"
premiere in Queens, Los
Angeles, on Friday, the TV personality spoke to People and explained how
her mother, Litsa, died of stage 4 brain cancer in May.
"I'm
fine. Most of the time I'm fine. It's awful. There is no way out," he
said. “You just have to get over it and deal with it.” Now I try to talk to
him. I can feel him guiding me one way or another.
Menounos, 43, revealed
plans to contact his late mother through spirituality.
"It's so
much fun. I got help from a therapist. I cried with Kyun [Ungaro] recently. I
said I thought I was ready to call him.

Someone else could help with this. 'Call
me,' he explained." She called me the next morning, like "Your mom is
calling me and she wants to talk to you". I was like 'Wow.' So I'll talk
to him next Saturday. Enthusiastic. "
Unfortunately, not only did the entire Mario
Menounos mom family lose, Litsa's death wasn't the only recent loss.

"It
hurts. I have nothing to say but it's bad. Then I had to put his dog down. It
was so hard because I had to take him away from his father.
Now that's another thing." “It is
cruel. "This is life," said Mario Menounos mom about her.
However, he was always in a good mood while
still having fun with others at the Newhouse premiere, featuring Jimmy Kimmel, Julie Bowen,
Oscar Nunes, and Rob Moo Lou at the premiere.
